Journalist from whole of Latin America gathered in a Training Workshop "The Lack of a National Plan Against the Cancer" in Buenos Aires. The Workshop focused on the social myths covering the illness such as: Cancer diagnosed is sentenced to die; It is a major problem in the country; and a person suffering from cancer is alone.
The director of the International Office inside the American Cancer Institute, Joseph Harford states that illnesses like cancer affects more in undeveloped countries and some of the reason are junk foods, cigarette, sedentarism etc.
